I have just found Asos' Fashion Finder a one-stop-shop for inspiration it includes Looks - this section is dominated by Katy Perry and Alexa Chung, not that I don't like either of them but hopefully their will be more of a range of looks - Trends,  Outfits where you can build your own look (similar to Polyvore) and of course a link to Asos itself for all your shopping needs :)

Holiday Wardrobe Inspiration

I am going away to South Africa next week, and I have been looking for holiday outfit inspiration and found so many. The weather will be quite mixed and we are travelling around SA quite a bit and will be doing such a range of activities; safari, BBQs, diving with sharks (!), going for high-tea, abseiling and visiting the winelands so going to have to take that into consideration. These are my holiday inspirations so far;

Chic Aztec

Just found these aztec nails that Whitney Port has been sporting. I have tried the bold aztec designs that Wah Nails do, but I really like this chic alternative. Unfortunately I think the faded/feather edges of the aztec design one these would be difficult to achieve at home, but worth a try.

Newspaper Nails

This innovative blogger has come up with a great way of making use of the - sometimes annoy - habit of newspapers of treansfering print; by pressing newspaper clips against the nail and sealing with topcoat.  

Vintage Fair

Just wanted to share some of my vintage fair find; silk turban to be worn with a white dress and a tan, and this (costume) diamond necklace to add some glam to a grey t-shirt.

New Favourite

I have a new fav blogger from The Little Black List she is so hot and wears the best outfits. I particularly love her bling necklaces, and her amazing midriff!! Most of her clothes are vintage which makes her look original, I really like the way she put everything together; looks so effortless.

Statement Earrings

I love statement necklace, they are the easiest thing to dress up a plain outfit. Statement earrings, however, I find harder as I look a bit strange with my hair up which if you have long hair is a must when wearing 'busy' earrings. But here is Rachel Zoe doing a master class in statement earrings...

Nailspiration

 Fruity for the Summer (shame about the dry skin!!), this would also work for strawberries I think with the green leaves at the top....

I really wanted to try these out on my sister, but she was having gone of it and thought they were ugly. I think they are cool, just need to find someone with long enough nails to get them into such a pointed shape.

Loving this blog, I love how smart her looks are, makes me want to try harder at work.  I like how she has mixed up different shades of the same colour, my friend Jess has got me a cotton on cropper jacket in a coral colour, I think I might try the same idea out with that.

And her hair is amazing, I am going to try out her "Carrie Bun" tonight, not sure if it will work as my hair is not as long or thick. I also really like this off the face, but volumised style. She also has loads of hair tutorials on her blog, which I am going to check out.

I really like these causal looks, which mix up prints. I am particularly liking polka-dots at the moment. The grandad cardi over a printed blouse is a good option for this time of year, when you might be able to leave your coat at home but a cardi is a must.

Love this Swan Dress just found it on a website that I had never heard of before, reminds me of Christopher Kane's current collection.

Smash up

Just seen these Models Own/Wah Nails varnishes which come out in April. I already have the Barry M black crackle effect varnish which everyone loves but these will be really cool. Looking forward to getting a 'lace effect' by painting the white crackle effect varnish over a nude polish.

DIY: Crab Bag

What you will need:
1. a clutch that needs an update
2. a brooch
3. a sharp knife
I got all my items (apart from the knife!) from a charity shop.

And then you simply cut a slit, the same width as the clip on the back of the brooch, in the leather on the flap on the bag. And then push the clip through the slit and close the clip so that it is tightly attached to the bag.

....done! Statement clutch!

Sophy Robson LFW Nails

These are taken from maincurist to the stars; Sophy Robson's Blog. I loved her LFW designs and these are some of my favourites....

Loewe Paris Fashion Week. Her Loewe SS11 butterfly designs were my favourite last year and I have since tried to recreate them in this blog. But I am going to try these leather-look nails out tonight.

This is actually a picture of one of Minx's representatives showing how to do the Minx gold foil nails, but it is the Minx representative's nails that really caught my eye; I love the marbled effect and the choice of colours, one to try out I think, shame marbling is so messy!

Love these faded nails, they remind me of the bags Prada brought out a few years a go. Not sure how I could recreate this though.

Re-worked half moon; I really like this and I think it works so well with a dark colour. The shape is hard so I think the colour should reflect that.

Go Bananas

I am loving Prada's fun SS11 collection, loads of colour and bananas!! Love it! Stripes always make an appearance during Spring but it is nice to see stripes with a twist here.
